SAN DIEGO PADRES IDENTITY

Developing the new identity for the San Diego Padres was part of a grand scale project that included the building of the $800M Petco Park. Like the architecture, we too took inspiration from the city’s one common thread – water. We combined subtle references to waves and sails with a classic baseball holding shape. We used colors that represent the sea, the sky and the sand. The new identity appeared on the field for the 2004 season.
